I got an email from the NYU Skirball Center about a talk from Maggie Rogers and I thought, “Who the hell is Maggie Rogers?” And then I remembered, she’s the woman from this viral video of Pharrell digging her song in NYU’s grad school. I checked out all of her stuff and I’m a fan. I particularly like Dog Years, both the song and the video.

The email also included Maggie’s new short documentary. I gave it a watch and it’s pretty cool. Kottke.org shares cool stuff all the time. I figured I’d do that tonight. Check out this short doc and check out Maggie Rogers’s music.
